Okay so it has been forever since I have had a real post. There has been a lot that has happened. Let's see in June I finished my first tri-athlon, if you can call it that. My sister in-law Emily and I decided that we were going to start training. We thought that we would try and go for a Tri in July, but we stepped up the training and with only 6 weeks behind us we entered the Tri.
The day of the tri was rainy and cold. I was not in the best of moods because we had already had a very stressful day the night before. (see emily's post for details) When we got to Salem where it was to take place, we grabbed our things and road our bikes to the race start. We noticed that there were a lot of people taking there bikes back to the car's, so we asked what was going on and they informed us that they had canceled the bike portion because it was to wet. I was mad about this fact because the biking is my best portion, and it was where I was looking forward to making up time. As we continued to wait for the beginning of the race we found out that they were thinking of canceling the swimming portion too, because the water was too cold. Instead they made a compromise with search and rescue and shortened the distance for us. The water temp. was 48 degrees, and the air temp. was 43. For the short version I will just say that it turned into a dual athlon, but I was able to finish the whole thing and didn't come in last!! The water was freezing and I looked like a wet dog trying to swim, but unlike some people I know search and rescue didn't pull me out of the water. Her are some pictures of the day. I only have some from the beginning because my camera died.

Lets see I also took a trip to Yellowstone with Cory, Emily, and there kids. I had a blast, it was an awesome time to get to know there kids better and to also just have a nice relaxing vacation. I love Yellowstone, I have always had a weird fascination with water.
I also went to Las Vegas this past weekend I had a blast. Kelly and Chanelle live there, well I guess for a few more days they do. I absolutely love Las Vegas. It has defiantly gotten more sleazy since the last time I was there, but I just love the city life. I was able to get my haircut by Chanelle who is the best ever at dong hair. I don't think I can trust my hair to anyone else but her. To bad they are so far away. The first night that we were in Vegas we took the kids to Circus Circus to see the free circus show. We ended up playing some of the carnival games, and we won a stuffed animal for each of the kids. We then went home and went swimming at there pool.

K, so this last picture I love of my nephew but don't look at me, I have no idea what I was doing.
I also spent a night on the strip. We started out our night by going to Freemont street, where you can still put coins into the slot machines. We decided that we really wanted to walk down Freemont street so that we could find ourselves the "deep fried twinkes," and "deep fried oreos." On our way down the street we got to see the awesome light show. LOL

I also had some hot chippendales try to get me to come and take a picture with them. I was extremely freaked out, but Chanelle got it worse than me. They tried to grab her hand to pull her over, but she screamed and ran to the opposite side. We finally made it to our destination at the end of the street where our deep fried fantasies where to come true. Here are some pictures of the deliciouness.

To finish off our night we went down to the strip, where I was able to finally ride the roller coaster at New York, New York. I also got to see the Bellagio fountains which I had only ever seen from the car. I think I saw the two best shows.

How could I not include a picture of Caesar's Palace the residence of Celine Dion for 5 years. P.S. Bangs? Like them, Hate them?
Last but not least the pictures we took as we were leaving Vegas, and wanted to document Kelly and Chanelle's house for the time.

P.P.S My nephew loves to make car poses, and power ranger poses!
